For this steak I used a special plastic bag for the steak. I cut the pulp a little on the bottom and I put in the notches two cloves of finely chopped garlic, I sprinkled the pulp with salt, pepper and I put it in the bag. I cut the potatoes into peas, put them on top: salt, pepper, a little olive oil and put them in the bag next to the meat.
I cut the tomatoes in half and the peppers into thicker slices and put them in the bag. I chopped the rest of the garlic and green basil and put them over the meat and potatoes. I put the bag with them in a tray and put it in the oven for an hour and a half on low heat. Before putting it in the oven, I made a few holes with the toothpick in the bag so that the steam came out.
After almost an hour and a half, I took out the tray and cut the bag, sprinkled the rest of the olive oil on the meat and put it in the oven for another 10 minutes on the right heat, so that it browns a little. The meat is very tender and flavored and the potatoes are slightly caramelized and just as flavorful.
I served it with seasonal salad. If you like green basil, you can stop some leaves and chop them and put them on the steak before serving.
